FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)

HOW IS MY PRIVACY PROTECTED?

We are very serious about protecting your privacy and confidentiality via a secure network with a strong infrastructure. We only share information related to your therapy with express written consent by only you. Information cannot be shared with family members or providers without your written consent.

I AM NEW TO THERAPY, CAN THERAPY HELP ME? WHAT IS IT LIKE?

If you are looking to improve the quality of your life, if there is anything that is interfering with your happiness, or processing any types of trauma-related issues, therapy is right for you.  After you contact us, we will have a consultation call to see how we can help you.  We will find out the best day and time to meet, discuss payment options before services are rendered. We don’t believe in a waiting list when it comes to your mental health,  therefore we do our best to get you help as soon as possible by partnering up with other mental health providers when we are full.  At our practice, we have a very smooth process because coaching & therapy is SELF-CARE!

HOW DO I CHOOSE A THERAPIST?

The most important part of therapy is finding a qualified clinician with specialties that match your needs. It is also very important that you feel you can connect with your therapist, someone who creates a safe space, a non-judgmental environment in order to work through your thoughts and feelings.

WHAT IS COACHING?

Coaching is all about wellness.  We help you make progress in certain areas of your life including personal development, emotional intelligence, self discovery, healing, and any related topics to attain greater fulfillment.  If you are in need of some serious changes about your life and business, life coaching can help you find clarity about your brand, mindset, skills, and strategies for bigger impact, income, and success.  Give us a call and let’s start rocking those goals today.

HOW IS LIFE COACHING DIFFERENT FROM THERAPY?

The major difference between life coaching and therapy is the focus of the work.  Therapy focuses on mental health and emotional healing, while life coaching focuses on accountability, setting, and achieving goals.  We are a dual practice and we offer both services, please contact us for more information in order to find out about our coaching packages and therapy services. Together, we will decide which one is a better fit for you.

HOW DOES TELEMEDICINE WORK?

With COVID-19 currently keeping people at home, or people with busy schedules, all services at this time are delivered through telemedicine. You can access us from any device with a camera and a strong internet connection. We will email or text you prior to your session as a friendly reminder.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

We understand emergencies happen, therefore we ask that if you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.
